If you are using many kinds of the tool in, actually Photoshop has been facilitated by the toolbar feature at the left side of the drawing window, and the menu bar at the top side. You also can change and move the position of the toolbar as desired. But, because there are too many tools and feature in Photoshop, make it more difficult to reach every tool when you need it.
Fortunately there is keyboard shortcut feature in photoshop. With this feature, you can switch tools only by pressing a single or combination of a keyboard key. And it is faster to use keyboard shortcut than click through a menu bar, and you just need to memorize the tool that you frequently use. Though, some still prefer using a menu bar and toolbar.
